Forza Horizon 4 - Sudden loss of turning direction

edited April 2021 in Forza Horizon

Hello,

My Setup:

DD1 (in V2.5 Mode, High Torque Active), Inverted Pedals V3, Shifter, Porsche Wheel 918 RSR.

Latest Driver and FANLab installed on PC.

Calibration of Motor Sensor, Wheel and Shifter fine, everything looks good in Fanatec Property Tool.

Initial Setup in Forza for the wheel is working. Steering, Shifting, Clutch, Gas and Brake is working.

Problem desciption:

Out of nowhere the front axle of the wheels jumps to a high degree.

The wheel doesn't turn while this happens, but then rotates due to spring scale back to center position.

I observed the Property Page while this is happening and saw the reason:

Immediate jump from center steering wheel position to some very high value.

The same problem occurs in Forza Motorsport 7.

I'm right now downloading Raceroom to find out, if the same problem occurs there too.

My recent Device Settings:

Had somebody this problem before or a clue, why this is happening?

Thank you and BR,

M

  • UPDATE:

    SAME error with RaceRoom!

This is a very serious problem, spinning of steering wheel with this much force! Almost ripped my finger off.

I think I have to contact Fanatec if I'm the only one with this big safety issue.

    Exchaning DD1 or money back.

  • UPDATE:

Problem still there after uninstalling and reinstalling Driver.
