F1 Esports V2 wheel issue

Hi. I just got the CSL DD F1 Esports Premium Bundle for PC and I've set everything up according to the manuals. The wheel is not being detected by the control panel. When the wheel is connected to the wheel base, the control panel says no "Fanatec device detected" and it gives me 5 steps (on driver 439 and 9 steps on 440) to try and fix the issue (they don't help). The wheel also enters an endless calibration with the power button on the wheel base being red and then the color switches to yellow for a split second and then it becomes red again. No lights on the steering wheel, it only rotates as if it's calibrating. If I take the wheel off, the control panel detects the wheel base and the pedals (pedals are connected to the wheel base) as it would normally. Any suggestions on how I can solve this? I've really been looking forward to use the CSL DD and it does this straight out of the box. It's so frustrating.

    did you find a solution?

    I have the same concern

I contacted support and am waiting for a response.

  • I had the exact same issue. It turns right, stops for a second, the light flickers and then starts turning right again. Forever calibrate

  • I have the same problem, managed to update from v1 to v5 via recovery tool. Sometimes it gets recognized by the control panel but as soon as I turn off and turn on the base again,it goes on endless calibration loop. If i turn off the base, take off the wheel, turn the base and reinsert the wheel...sometimes it works but its evident that something is wrong. Other wheels worked fine... Didnt find the solution, contacted the support, waiting for answer....

  • Hey there, sorry to revive an old thread, but has anyone found a solution? I'm having the same issues.
