V3 Pedals Not Detected by Wheelbase

Updated V3 pedals to the most current firmware and everything went well. Since the update the pedals can not be detected when directly connected to the DD2 wheelbase my preferred connection method. They do work when connected by usb to the computer but the rumble motor seems to activate at about 50% brake travel. Any suggestions?

Hi Kevin, if you had both cables connected at once (to the wheel base via RJ12 and the PC via USB), you may have damaged the electronics.

The rumble motor activating at 50% is because of the BLI setting, which by default will trigger the brake motor at 50% input. You can adjust the BLI setting to your preference.

If you think there is a hardware fault with your pedals, please open a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account.

  • Both cables were not connected at the same time. If connected via USB there is no BLI setting. I don't believe the hardware is at fault but maybe something in the firmware update.
