Static Shifter magnetic upgrade?

Having used the podium advanced paddle module for some time I would like to add magnets to the static shifter to improve the rallying experience. I have seen a simple 3d printed mod for wheel based shifters that just add a couple of magnets to the existing structure ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z67Z-J9rXCI ).
Fanatec have you any plans to attach magnets to the static shifter? If not does anyone know of an elegant solution available?
