CSL Elite PS4 - How to revert to an old firmware

Prior to updating the CSL firmware this week, I was playing Project Cars 1 by using the Yellow Mode instead of the Blue Mode and all was fine. With the latest firmware, it doesn't work anymore. What's up with that ? Is there a way to revert to an older version of the firmware or do a factory reset ?
When a product is presented as compatible with a certain game, please make sure it is. PC1 is probably not the hottest game these days but it is still one of my favourite.
Anything that could help would be appreciated.
