Firmware update death
Just died during a race on iRacing because my DD1/formula V2 wheel got disconnected by a firmware update message right in the middle of it.
Is there any way to prevent this ?

There is a potential way to prevent this: disable the Rumble/Vibration feature in the iRacing options as that one is supposed to be causing this issue as this issue came with the iRacing March 2020 Season Build 2 years ago and the only change from them was the implementation of the vibration feature which seems to cause a firmware update in very rare Situations.
