Driver update: When released or when Control Panel identifies an update is available?

I noticed that the current driver available is 447, I am currently on 439.

The Fanatec Control Panel says I am up to date. Is that because there is nothing in 447 that is applicable to my hardware? (CSWB v2.5, CS Formula Black, CSP v3)

That is because the driver update detection function in 439 is broken. This was fixed since Driver 446.
