Driver Update

I have a quick question about driver updates.

I have a CSL Elite v. 1.1 wheelbase with a Clubsport Porsche 918 RSR steering wheel driver 336, fw 656/22.

Both are excellent products which work great.

On two occasions at startup the wheel spun very fast until I powered it down.

I restart the wheel and it functions perfectly.

I contacted support which has been responsive and outstanding.

Support suggested updating driver to 346.

I have a basic question, I could not find the answer to.

Do I leave the steering wheel attached while I uninstall 336, install 346 and then update the firmware?

    Yes, you can leave the rim attached while updating the driver and included firmwares.
