Do you set dead zone for the loadcell brake peal?

i just got the load cell upgrade and tried it for the first time. First thing I noticed is how sensitive it is for the first 5-10% input. I'm used to rest my left foot on the brake pedal when not braking, but with the load cell, simply putting my foot on it gives 5% of braking.
Since I don't use a clutch pedal, now I have to hold my left foot straight when not using the brake. It gets really uncomfortable after a while. Is this how the brake is supposed to work? Or does everyone set a dead zone for the first couple percents of braking input?

I have a deadzone of 5% set in AC for this exact reason.
So how do you set the dead zone i have same issue. I went to properties page and set a new min and made no difference.
I think you set deadzone for the brakes (throttle and other things as well) in the respective game itself. In whichever game you're in go to "Settings".... navigate to the section you see settings/adjustments for such.
