I have been having a similar issue but with down shifting. if the firmware does not solve the problem then it is a problem with the switch. I inspected the switch on the apm and saw that the top part of switch for the shiter was worn. the other switch was fine (less use). The switch has a rubberized coating on it and the one for the shifter already shows a metal pin in the center. I have contacted customer support already and requested for the replacement part and waiting for an answer. for the meantime I put a piece of thick tape on the shifter lever where button contacts the lever to account for the loss of height of switch button. I cannot reproduce the problem for now.
Sorry to bother, i'm a little confused on how to update the firmware with this? Normally I've just had to run the program in the folder but this one seems to be different? Thanks for any help.
Assuming I have to manually select the hex file within the zipped folder once I open up the "firmware updater" by hitting "load hex file"? I'm also unsure which of the 3 i'm supposed to update with this file? Motor firmware, Base firmware or wheel? Thanks!!
So im still having the driver crash regularly. Im running the 365 driver now, no Fanalabs is installed, I don't have broken pins, I have the wheel base and everything attached to it on it own usb cable usb 3.0. I have uninstalled everything not vital and removed ever thing else not essential and still had it crash. Drivers will crash with nothing actually happening, no game running etc.
How do I fix this before I get banned from iRacing for deliberately wrecking some one or some shit like that?
Can you tell us what folder of the 3 in the zip file you used? Also which did you update? The wheel. base motor, or base? Sorry it's a bit confusing for me. I too have times where my buttons don't regisster an upshot.
I am looking to buy a Endurance button module and have a CS 2.5. While I understand currently they are not compatible can I just confirm it is fanatecs intent that in future SW releases the EBM and any further addons will be supported.
HI Maurice, can you tell me what folder of the 3 in the zip file above I should use? Also which did you update? The wheel, podium base motor, or base firmware? Sorry it's a bit confusing for me. I too have times where my buttons don't register an upshit.
The zip file only contains new steering wheel firmwares for BME, PHub and Formula v2 so I don't really understand the question which to update as it depends on what wheel you have. Base and Motor have to be updated separately through the driver interface.
hi guys, i downloaded yesterday Assetto corsa competizione on console, my dd1 is working perfectly, but the pedals keep on vibrating the whole time non stop, i have v3 pedals any clue why?
another thing if someone can send me whats the best settings for the new assetto corsa on console for my DD1.
Pedals Model: ClubSport Pedals V3 LC and Performance Kit
Driver Version: 365
Base FW Version: 672
Wheel FW Version: 34 rev 187
Pedals FW Version: 22
FanaLab Version: 1.23
Windows 10 Pro x64 (2004)
I was having the rim/based power down or loose FFB or all the buttons going crazy etc. This has so far stopped since flashing the Wheel with 34 rev 187. But, 33% of the times I turn on the base, it fails to complete the wheel calibration and then switches to XBox (green LED). Pushing the MODE button makes the LED go red and then its fails once more. Solution is to power off base and power it up again.
I did notice on failed power ups, that when powering up, the LEDs don't always light up and the wheel turns slower than "normal", and then it fails. If the wheel turns at the "normal" rate, I know its going to power up correctly.
The CSPv3 and Handbrake won’t be recognized when connected directly into the DD1. Tried it with the included RJ cable that comes with the DD1. When the Pedals connect via USB as a stand-alone device, the CSPv3 works and the Handbrake too. I’m using this latest beta driver..
On my side everything works fine when connected via the Formula Racing Wheel (DD1 with PS4 compatibility). As I‘m using it sometimes on consoles too, I have everything connect to the wheelbase to have only one cable to connect to PS4 or PC...
Just installed this "Podium hub firmware" and after 40 hours of usage, I can confirm this solved my issue (paddles and analogic buttons stop working on my porsche gt3 wheel).
Quick question on the BME. On the ACC (PS4 Podium base) was trying to set the TC and ABS on the 12 position switches but they are not being detected. Same aslo for the top flaps of the magneting shifters (the small on top of the gear paddles). I guess it is a game/console limitation. Right?
which driver and sofrtware am I to use in combination with a podium hub or a xbox hub mounted with advanced paddle module for it to work some what without problems ( meaning no wheel freezes and no button malfuntions ) using a DD2 btw ?
may I ask how close the team is to releasing a driver with the text export firmwares included, or is it easy enough to do even though I've never tried something like that before? it is easy to download the driver from the homepage or from the forum, and install it, but how does that text export firmwares work?
Comments
yes, try that firmware.
Appreciate the fast response. Thank you.

So Just to give an Update, ive done quite a few practice sessions and a few races without any shifting issues at all :)
I'm having exactly same problem, but with "podium racing wheel f1" + "podium steering wheel porsche 911 gt3 R".
surprisingly, with the original ring (from f1), no problem.
Can i test upgrading the podium driver with these?
update: I upgraded only the "podium hub", and after like 10-15 hours, i can confirm issue not appears again.
If something is wrong, I'll update

No way to fix it actually because it's a firmware issue which got no fix yet.
You can avoid these issue by using driver 346 with included firmwares 662/30 as these do not freeze.

Yes, sometime in the very near future (BME only, no other further addon is confirmed though so don't bet on that!)

I believe that the ACC Console issues seems to be with the game sadly...

365 with text export firmwares from page 20 or driver 346 with included firmwares.

It's easy. Just open the firmware updater load the downloaded hex file, flash the firmware.
Any update on a fix for the universal hub - been over three months since this was broken by the last beta.
I have driver v.365 and DD1
When I turn off the base, my power supply fan still spinning and never stop. Temp are low, psu is not hot. Is my power supply broken?
What's your room temp?
The same with me (dd2, any drivers).
