New pedals not working, looking for some advice here

I'm running CSL's with a g29 (pedals have been unplugged) and the throttle is registering as a button for some reason with the brake not registering entirley. I've installed the latest drivers and all down the list was error messages. I'm flat out of ideas on how to fix the problem.
