CSL Elite USB-B port broke off.

My usb-b port in the base broke off. Just the inside bit not the whole port. My question is will fanatec consider this user damage and if they do would I be able to pay for the repairs directly at fanatec so I would at least keep the warranty? I already contacted fanatec support and I am waiting for an answer since last sunday.

Info: the cable was never extremely strecthed. It always had space to move in the case I pulled the sead or the base.

    Hi Mihai,

    According to the system, your support ticket was opened two days ago (28/10). The team is currently a few days backlogged so you may not receive a response until early next week.

    The USB port does not normally break off the PCB unless it has been subjected to a significant force. You'll have to wait to see what the support team decides. The overall warranty for the product will continue once it has been repaired and tested.
