do i need the "ClubSport Steering Wheel Universal Hub for XBOX ONE" if playing primarily on PC

apologies if this is explained somewhere on the fanatec website but i cant work it out. Is the only reason for buying ClubSport Steering Wheel Universal Hub for XBOX ONE that you want to play racing games on the xbox? I am primarily interested in PC and then secondarily PS5.

I was leaning towards the CSL elite wheel base + (based on feedback elsewhere on the forum i understand it to to be very close to the CSL wheel base 2.5 in performance), some v3 pedals, a shifter and a handbrake. However, all the wheels i look at on the website seem to come bundled with the xbox hub and i'm trying to work out why. Is it that otherwise there are very few buttons on the steering wheels (and the buttons would work with a PC if you i bought the hub?). Is there something else i'm missing?

You either need the Universal Hub or the Podium Hub for single steering wheel rims to have FFB on your base.
