Quick release stuck

Hi i am new a new fanatec user, i got my CSL f1 set yesterday and i put my wheel on the base but when i pull back the quick release system i can't get the wheel back of the base. It is stuck on it.

What can i do about this?

    Same problem for me. Wheel base is csl and steering wheel is formula v2. My first 2 attemps were so difficult.. the steering was well pluggin ‘cause i managed to do the update.

    do we have to grease the axle and steering ?

    I tried once again with some silicone and It is still almost impossible to plug and unplug the steering wheel...

    really desappointed for my first fanatec purchase :( hope to find a solution soon

    Normally it is not necessary to lubricate the QR of the CSL Elite or ClubSport wheel bases, but a thin layer of silicone grease can help. It should be quite easy to attach and remove the wheel. If it keeps getting stuck, there may be a manufacturing issue that is causing excessive friction. I recommend you open a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account.
