CSL wheel with CSR Elite Pedals?

I'm looking to upgrade my Fanatec setup. I currently have the old CSR (XBox360-Forza) Wheel and CSR Elite Pedals. Are the older CSR Elite Pedals compatible with the newer wheels like the CSL? I'm mostly playing on PC, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

To connect CSR Elite Pedals to CSL Elite base you need this cable:

Or you can connect the pedals directly to the computer via USB.
