New CSW 2.5 Smell during high FFB

Just got the wheel today and been getting it dialed in within iRacing.

I've been noticing that briefly after high FFB periods (not clipping) there is a perceptible smell of something. I don't want to say burning, but similar. Not sure if it's a belt slipping, don't really hear any noise that would indicate that.

It then goes away, but comes back at basically the same spot around the track.


Any ideas?
