Issues with CSL E Base PS4 and new firmware 684

Hello guys,
yesterday, i installed the lates driver package for (v400) and updated my gear coming from v381. After this, I wanted to test it with iRacing. I‘ve joined the game and wanted to calibrate the week again to ensure proper function.
In the second step, I saw an issue: When you have to turn the wheel 90 degrees, iRacing seems to get wrong values from the wheel base. The real angle is not matching the ingame angle anymore. Then, i installed the „old“ driver again without downgrading the base firmware and the other stuff. I got the same issue. Now, I downgraded my base to the old version from previous driver package and it seems to fine again. So, I think there‘s an issue in v684 for the wheelbase.
For now, I downgraded all gear to the previous versions. Anyone who can confirm this issue? Testing was done with the McLaren v2 mounted.

Yep, it's a known issue that the Sensitivity is broken on CSL Elite Bases with the newest Firmware.

Does that mean if you have a CSL Elite base you shouldn’t bother with this update at all and wait for the next? Or is this just an iracing problem?
Do Fanatec not test these things? Fanatec make a big deal about the last releases not being beta yet they still introduce new problems - this is entirely avoidable with basic testing procedures. Some serious improvements required on the software development side.
I use freeware that is updated by hobbyists more frequently and with a higher level of care that Fanatec official software. You guys could learn a lot from the guys behind Simhub and Crew Chief to name but two. (Cue for the apologists and appeasers to blame the community for not joining in on the beta testing, won't be long before they appear...)
I have to apologize for missing this problem as a beta tester.
No it's an overall FW issue, please don't bother updating and wait for the next release :)

Thanks for the info. Been concerned that my rotation is off for all sims. For those with the same problem, I simply created a work around by playing with the rotation in game until the wheel and game see the same rotation. Iracing at 990 = 959 in the game calibration screen. That was the closest I could get.
I have a centering/ calibration issue with my 2nd brand new csl elite wheelbase + and tried with firmware 680 and 684 drivers 380 400 and 402 with no changes. I used diview to check the axis. My wheel range is 895 to 64689 instead of 0 to 65535. In the driver the wheel goes from -525 to +525. I calibrated it with diview and set the range using the raw data to min 895 middle 32767 and end 64689 and now it will stay almost centered in the drivers properties its within 1%.and now rotates -540 to +540 Before that it would not stay in the center when calibrated using fanatec calibration method, except sometimes id I set the center where the wheel booted up and stopped which was a few degrees to the right. I spoke with tech support and sent video evidence of this and have not heard back yet. This is either firmware or hardware. Whatever the case its not right or acceptable.
Update calibration doesn't hold for long. Changes during races.

I tried the 402 and seems to be the same.
correct, driver 400 - 402 all have this problem.

I have same problems! Again all the weekend trying to resolve and no luck.im really Disappointed! I will good think if will buy again fanatec,but probably not!
Install driver 381 and wheel base firmware 680.
Hi I have gone all the way back to pc driver 365 wheel base firmware 672 and still the wheel goes from -525 to +525. Any updates or suggestions on this please?
Same problem here with CSL Elite 1.1.

CSL Elite bases seem to be end of life, and Fanatec leaves us alone...

Driver Version 381 works fine for me. With the firmwares installed coming with it.
