Updating drivers when using a Playstaion

Hi,
I'm new to Sim racing and have recently purchased a Fanatec CSL Elite set for the PlayStation. Is it possible or necessary to update drivers or is this only required when using this equipment with a PC?
Thanks for any help with this.
Cal.

Usually the bundles come with the firmwares necessary to directly plug them in the console and you are good to go, therefore the term "plug and play".
Nevertheless, it's never a bad idea to check for the latest driver to see if an issue you might encounter has been fixed with later firmwares, which are included in the later drivers.
To update your gear you'll need a PC though.
Thanks for the quick reply.
So I can take my wheel to a PC to update drivers then go back to the PlayStation? I have not done this. Maybe this would fix my Oscillation problem.
hmm I don't think this would fix your oscillations tbh. This comes down to your settings. Would you mind sharing them?
I will do when I get home from work but I am sure they are pretty similar to the recommended setting in this forum for my set up.
I will check this afternoon.
