Podium racing wheel F1 settings

Hey All, new to the forum and sim racing all together so please go easy on me. I just purchased the DD1 package with the podium F1 wheel. When playing ACC I can’t seem to figure out how to get the shift lights to work on the wheel during game play. When I go into test mode for the wheel they work. I’m I missing something in setup?
