CSL Elite wheelbase - rubber feet coming apart

I recently purchased a CSL Elite wheelbase secondhand, and after a while of using it with the deskclamp, I found that the glue holding the rubber feet onto the wheelbase had come loose, and was falling apart, like so:
It's causing the wheel to move a little when racing, and leaves black glue and rubber marks on my table after a race session.
My questions are mainly directed toward fellow users that clamp their wheel to a desk, though anyone may help me with this, especially if you've faced this issue before:
What did you do to fix/circumvent it?
Is it advisable to just do away with the rubber feet altogether and rely on the desk clamp to hold it down steady?
And if you replaced the feet, what did you replace the rubber with?
Comments
When using the CSL Elite with a table clamp, there must be two blocks mounted on the bottom of the base.
Thanks for the heads on on that! Doesn't really answer the question I have for the rubber feet though
Why not just buy some rubber sheet and cut out new feet and stick them on? I fail to see why this needs input from anybody else?
Never heard of it, thanks for the input
