DD1 - need to constantly re-assign axis/buttons

Hi,

I have a strange issue - I recently upgraded from a CSW 2.5 to a DD1. I am plug in and unplugging the DD1 into the same USB port before and after racing sessions.

In the last few weeks, the DD1 assignments in AC and other games keep getting lost, and I have to reassign them almost constantly when starting the game. (axis, buttons, etc). In AMS 2.0, I am unable to calibrate anymore even though the buttons are recognized (steering wheel rotation / pedals not detected).

I had the same configuration with CSW 2.5 for an extended period of time, and never had that issue. Wondering if someone had similar issues? This feels like the controller indexes keep changing, but confused why this starts happening recently and worked well with CSW 2.5 before.

    I think i found it - appeared to be the USB extension cable combined with the port.
