Little noise from the power supply of DD1

Hi all,

Yesterday i mounted my new Podium Racing Wheel F1 (with the Pedals V3). I installed the driver, updated the firmware and try some laps in iRacing.

All work fine.

On evening before going to sleep, with silence in house, i noticed a little noise coming from the power supply. Seems like a "tic tic tic" like an hands of a clock. It's very low, you have to go very near for listen, but i want to know if is normal or can indicated some "problem".

    Hi Mirko,

    Podium wheel base PSUs can make slight electrical noises (like a very faint hum for example) but I have not heard about a ticking noise before. Please contact support to clarify. If you're able to record the sound and include that in your support ticket that would be helpful.

    I try to record this but i too much low and, also going very near, the brackground noise cover him.

    And i hear it ONLY when the Wheel base is turning OFF. When is ON, everything is silent.

    I doubt it is coming from that. That is a ferrite core and is completely passive.
