[Solved] CSL DD no ffb

Hi simRacers,

Yesterday I "finally" managed to try the csl dd that came to me days ago but ...

I can't get FFB.

I've tried optimal configurations, on several games with no results. I've tried several usb ports but nothing. The base is recognized and the steering wheel movement is okay, but it does not return feedback. Tested in pc and compatible mode.

When switched on, the base automatically centers the steering wheel, the pc and the fanatec software recognizes the base but no ffb.

Firmware updated without errors.

I noticed that fanalab says it receives telemetry data every 15ms. everything seems to work but I don't feel any feedback.

any ideas?

Hi Gregg, nope.

by the way, being new to the fanatec world, am I obliged to have a fanatec wheel / QR?

In the sense, if I use my QR and my wheel via USB, does it work the same? or does the base need its pins if not, for example, does not release feedback?

If you dont have "the pins" the base doesnt recognize there is a wheel attached so no feedback is engaged.

You need either the podium hub or the CSL hub so the base can read it was the wheel on.
