Steering input extremely laggy/stuttery/freezing in Control Panel and games.

Hey, I finally received my DD1, V3 pedals, shifter and F V2.5X wheel but have found the steering input seems to be misfunctioning - extremely laggy, freezes etc. I went into AC and if the car is stationary, steering left and right, it looks as though the game is running sub 10fps. When moving however, it's clear the game is achieving the 144 target, it's just the steering that is slow and non responsive and skipping frames. To be clear, it's the input, not the visuals - the car is undrivable as a result.

In Fanatec control panel the same thing occurs; pedal inputs are smooth and linear but steering inputs are laggy, the wheel rotation skips huge degrees of rotation as it freezes and tries to catch up with me.

Have reached out to support but they say they'll respond within 7 days... so really hoping that it's user error that someone here can make me aware of.

FYI I've removed/reinstalled the 415 drivers, everything is on latest firmware.
