Reinstall driver after upgrading wheelbase?

I have a simple question, but could find answer by using the search function.

My mate has a CSW 2.5 and he will upgrade to a DD2 tomorrow. Does he need to reinstall his Fanatec driver after switching bases? He's using driver version 415 for his CSW 2.5.

    Hi Jasper, you should not have to reinstall the driver. The driver contains support and all the necessary firmware for all current products. Driver 415 should detect the DD2 and notify if that the firmware needs to be updated, which is then handled by the Firmware Manager.
