Hi
Is it correct that i have to put my brand new CSL DD into comaptible mode for ACC to see it ?
Because thats what i have to do atm and that seems a bit strange.

Most games don't have native support yet for it because of the very fact that it is so new; developers haven't had time to implement it.
Thanks i thought it may have been faulty as i had issues updating the driver as well.
thought it may have been a driver conflict after changing from the Elite to the DD
ACC currently only recognises the CSL DD in compatibility mode. AC though works with it in PC mode.
I am still configuring the settings for the base in ACC. AC though seems to work really well with the base. FFB is really good.
Unsure if AC artificially amplifies the feel for the base more than ACC to the extent that it is beyond what a real car feels like, but it is good and I really like it.
I am actually tweaking the ‘road effects’ in ACC, even though it was recommended to set it at 0 for the game.
AC does NOT support the CSL DD in PC mode and it never will. In PC mode you can Map the buttons and get FFB but you do NOT get LEDs and Display working natively. That's only working in Comp Mode.
Oh?
I did not try it in Comp mode in AC. Works for me with McLaren GT3 V2 wheel, which do not have any LEDS or display hence I have always just used my CSL DD in that mode. Is there a need to go Comp mode for me in AC?
The McLaren also has a Display which stays dark in PC mode but would show you speed and gear in Comp Mode natively.
I guess the game is so old now that it is just not in their vested interest to release an update to recognise the CSL DD outright?
Cheers for that!
They didnt even pushed a update for support for Podium DD Bases which also needs to be used in Comp mode for native LED and Display support. So no, there is absolutely no Chance that there will be a update to support the CSL DD natively.
Has ACC included support with the last update 1.83 on PC??
I guess not...
