DD1 - not able to switch to High Torque mode?
Hi,
I have a (sudden) problem with my setup - had a longer break (1-2 months) and wanted to race today.
Nothing changed on my system but now I´m not able to switch to high torque mode anymore...
DD1, SRM adapter on a Fanatec ClubSport QR with a Rexing wheel (simulated as "Formula Carbon")
So with this 3rd party wheel I have to move the wheel 45° and I see the loading bar on the DD1. But then it tells me "due to the simplified QR it´s set to low torque".
Tried to erease motor calibration etc... nothing works. I only can have high torque with no wheel attached. But the ClubSport QR should give high torque?
Any ideas or did I miss something (update) in the last weeks??
All drivers/firmware up to date (pc 415, dd1 686, motor 40, fanalab 1.57.4)
Thanks in advance.

It's a known issue of the FW 687.
In the thread of the driver 423 a hotfix firmware was provided which fixes your issue.
Thank you Maurice.
Found the hotfix but then I decided to install everything newest available:
PC driver 427 and the new firmware 688 + motor 41 and everything is working now as expected.
what hotfix? where?
No need for any hotfix anymore 2 months later now as there already are several drivers released in the meantime which fixed it.
hey buddy. unfortunately my dd1 with the mclaren steering wheel does not allow the high torque to be turned on and I wonder if it can be avoided somehow. after all, I am taking the risk of damaging the plastic. although I believe that the risk is negligible
Do you use the metal QR1 or rhe plastic QR1 Lite?
From your comment I would say you use the plastic QR1 Lite.
With that one it is not possible to use High Torque Mode.
Any modifications to the QR will void the warranty of the wheel and the base. And the risk is very high as the plastic QR1 Lite is already cracking in Low Torque Mode for some people. There is no way it would survive 20Nm and you should really not risk to void your warranty and damage your products.
