DD1 shuts down when Clubsport RS attached.

I received my brand new DD1 today.

I have updated the Drivers to 429, and the respective Base and Motor firmware.

It all seems to work well from here , I can see it in the control panel, but as soon as insert the Clubsport RS wheel into the DD1 the screen goes blank and the DD1 disappears from the control. I am at a loss as to what to do next. The Clubsport RS works perfectly on a CSL DD wheelbase.
