DD1 missing ps4 modes..

I have a podium dd1 and bmw gt3 v2 wheel. Everywhere I look says these are all compatible with ps5 and ps4. Though the wheel is only switching between pc comp (v2.5) and PC mode. It does not switch to ps4 mode. I have updated to latest drivers. Still not working

Only the Podium Racing Wheel F1 is compatible with the PS4.
The wheel base needs to have the Playstation chip to be compatible. A normal DD1 doesn't have that Playstation chip.
Seems you have the regular DD1 and not the Podium Racing Wheel F1 DD1 with the blue Carbon plates. That's the only DD1 which is Playstation compatible.
i have seen so many comments on the DD1 not working on play Station 5 unless you use a drive hub and a HORI controller the controller needs to be a hard wired one is this really true. Can some explain this as it’s very frustrating that you need to buy the podium f1 setup but there are never in stock?
