Paddle Shifter broken off circuit board - what are my options?
Posted in steering wheels forum as well but also posting here since it is a racing wheel -
Hi all, I was attempting to install the advanced podium paddles onto my formula v2.5x wheel and when removing one of the original shifter connections the housing broke off the circuit board. I believe the soldering was poor as the other wires were removed from the other side with no issues. Any options to fix? I have no soldering experience whatsoever. Was also wondering if I could just replace the circuit board as most of it seems plug and play (but I could be wrong).
Any help would be appreciated. I did submit a claim on Fanatec's support line since I just purchased the wheel in Oct 2021 but I don't expect a reply for at least a few days.

If Fanatec won't cover it then try to find a local electrical repair place of some sort as they should be able to sort that out. Or get on YouTube and learn how to solder it back on.
Quite a good skill to have. All you need is a solder iron, flux and solder.
I can't solder properly myself so if it was me I'd consider either getting somewhere to repair it, getting a replacement PCB from Fanatec or have a go at soldering it back on myself.
Fanatec customer service contacted me yesterday to send back to them for repair or replacement if they cannot repair it. Shipping out to California today so hopefully I'll have my wheel back in a few weeks.
Nice.
