Strange resistance

Hey Guys,

Today I received my GT DD Pro, before I just had a Logitech so I don’t know if it’s supposed to have this strange resistance. I will try to describe it. Overall it’s pretty smooth but in the background there is like every 5 degrees a little resistance. I hadn’t had it with my old wheel so it feels kinda strange to me. It’s there when its turned off also turned on. The wheelbase and everything is on the latest software. I hope you guys can give me some advice it’s my first fanatec wheel.

    That's normal for Direct Drive Bases with Magnets inside. Between each Magnet there is a "gap" and to get to the next gap there is a resistance. People call this cogging.
