DD1 iRacing wheel calibration deadzone in centre

Hello,
When trying to calibrate the wheel in the iRacing options tab, I have to turn the wheel approx 40 degrees in rotation before the numbers start to change onscreen. Why would it not be reflecting my physical wheel movement instantly when measuring the rotation? Would this be a wheel settings issue in Fanalab, or an issue with the wheelbase?

Hi Phil,
You should check the behaviour of the rotation in the Fanatec Control Panel. If the reading seems normal there, then it is probably not a hardware problem. It might just take a while for iRacing to start displaying a reading during the calibration phase. As long as it is rotating as expected once the calibration is complete, then it is normal. If the rotation has a deadzone, then you might have a sensor problem and you should open a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account.
