Wireless Quick Release Update Mode
Error: Connect device failed(Error: Initial ping failure: No response received for ping command.).
Power OFF the wheel base and retry update.
If the problem persists, please contact FANATEC support.

That's usually a hardware issue so it's best to contact the support (again).
Yeah it was only happening since I got sent a new one.

do you not think a full deletion of anything fanatec related will help. including everything on registry
Unfortunately no.
This is a state where only support can repair the base. The communication between main controller and WQR module seems defect.

I had the same issue as you are describing. Open a support ticket and they should replace the quick release without any questions. Took 2 weeks to receive my wheelbase back, which is quite decent if you consider shipping time.
Yh I have the uk workshop address and you know i could easily just reply to support and just be like, look get them to send me an email asap so we can quickly setup the collection because its clearly not the first time that they've probably dealt with this and bang.
But this current system they have is quite worrying for the size of the company. They sent me an email and I replied within 5 minutes and yet it takes them more than 2-3 days to reply and this has put a lot of people off and other people have shopped with different brands.
