Problem with the shift paddles on my steering wheel (Universal Hub V2 Xbox & GT DD Pro Wheel Base)

Hello, 

I create this forum to know if I am the only one to have this problem and if anyone could help me with this..

I am already in contact with Fanatec support, but before sending it back for an RMA, I would like to know if there are any solutions to my problem. :)


My problem is this, I can't use the paddles on my steering wheel. On the picture below, I have the impression that my buttons are "engaged" while I do not press them.  Do you think this is a steering wheel problem or a base problem?

Moreover, when I try to calibrate my steering wheel via the display, nothing is displayed...

Everything is up to date in terms of firmware.


Has anyone ever had this problem and been able to solve it?

    Hi Bryan,

    I have exactly the same problem with you on the same product. Even the “engaged” bottoms are the same. May I ask how have you solved the problem. I’m sure it’s the steering wheel(hub)’s problem.
