Fanatec 180 Boost kit cable crooks, how to fix?

Hey!

I have been using the Fanatec Gran Turismo now for over 6months and the cable that goes from the boost kit to the wheel base is driving me insane, its keeps crooking and turning(see photos) and I always end up twisting it back so its straight. I feel like I can only do this a fix amount of times before something happens. Is there any way to fix this? I do attach and deattach my base when driving or not to my desk and the cable goes to left when attached.


Is there any way to fix this? Or can the cable handle this? I also put electrical tape on the cable because the rubber cracked were its crooked.
