Hardware not detected + Loud Fan

The DD2 and wheel are brand new out of the box. After selected "ok" to dismiss the Torque message, it takes me to this screen in which the "CAL" is blinking.

none of the buttons do anything from here.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and software (FanaLab and Fantatec Control Panel). I have tried multiple USB ports. The software simply will not detect the hardware.

Currently at a loss of what more I can try to do to get this to connect.

I am using this on PC.

Please help!
