DD Pro 8nm LINEAR vs PEAK question

Wondering on how the Torque curves differ for LINEAR vs PEAK setting on the DD Pro. I know the max Torque goes from 8nm to 6 but does the rest of the curve look something like this pic? If not then how? thx
