Xbox mode keeps switching back to PC now getting properties error for firmware update

Hello, after not playing my sim for a month or so, I tried tonight and the wheel base (Club sport 2.5 Forza) during xbox start would change to PC mode. After switch it back to Xbox mode with steering buttons it keeps switching back to PC. Went to do a driver update and now getting error in properties. see attached error file received.
