PS5 and DD1/DD2

Hi,

I have the DD Pro for GT7, love it. I have expanded my sim set up to the point I want to keep using GT7 and also get into PC sim racing.

I was planning to give my DD Pro to one of my kids, and was looking at DD1 or DD2. But both state not PS5 compatible and can not be upgraded. Yet I see people on YouTube using the DD1 with GT7.

Can and if I can, how do you use the DD1/2 on PS 5.

I already have the fanatics shifter, hand break and better peddles

    The people you see on Youtube are using the Podium Racing Wheel F1 Bundle which contains a special DD1 base with a Playstation security Chip. This Base however is discontinued and will not be produced anymore.

    The regular DD1 and DD2 are both not playstation compatible and can only work on Playstation when using it with a 3rd Party Tool. This however is not recommended as it then emulates a different base which feels different to a native implementation and of course it's also not officially supported by Fanatec.
