DD1 affecting standalone loadcell brake signal

HI - I have a DD1 and when I switch it on my standalone loadcell brake stops sending any signal.
The brakes are connected direct to the PC via Leo Bodnar USB cable adapter and use Leo Bodnar calibration software.
So there is no physical connection bewteen the DD1 and the brakes.
When I turn the DD1 off the brakes start responding again.
Any ideas why ? Is it possibly a grounding issue ?

Grounding/EMI issues would be my first guess.
Yeah that was mine too. Didn't have time to do any physical checking before work, but will do when I get home. Cheers :)
Yep its a grounding issue. as soon as the DD1 grounds on my rig the brakes stop working.
So that means the DD1 and the brakes are connecting via the rig, but the rig is totally isolated from power and PC since it is on a wooden platform.
What would be the best way to solve this ? I cantry and isolate the DD1 when mounted to the rig or would it be best to ground the rig to the PC or the a power outlet ?
Dont ground it to a PC! Its a build up of electricity - you dont want that going to a PC, as it will probably fry it
Ground it to a power outlet
Yep I did a bit of research and grounded it to power outlet.
Its all working as it should now :)
