DD1 Wheelbase Screen Playing Up

The screen on the wheelbase is misbehaving. Intermittently, it has started looking like a B&W negative and the screen is scrolling left to right. Then it will just stop and return to normal.

Odd - and any ideas please??

    My guess, and I'm afraid this is quite technical, is that it is broken. I expect it will need to be returned to the mothership for repair.
