This doesn't make any sense to me. So, if a wheel's warranty expires and a part goes bad, the wheel essentially becomes worthless because replacement parts cannot be purchased from Fanatec? I reached out directly to Fanatec and I'm very much hoping that's not the case.
When the QR1 Lite breaks after the warranty ran out then you can of course purchase a new QR1 Lite though their support. It's just not "free" anymore and just can not be bought separately. Same for Handgrips of Formula wheels, can not be purchased separately but are sold through support if they break after warranty.

You cant buy it separately, only together with a CSL wheel.
It seems that the QR1 Lites would have to be available from Fanatec in some way. For example, as a replacement part.
You'd probably be able to get a replacement for a product under warranty but other than that no. Then the only option is a QR1.

I contacted Fanatec support and they sold me a QR1 Lite as a replacement part. Problem solved.
