Fanatec firmware issue resolved?

Hello,
Is the problematic firmware problem resolved? I have a csl dd on the way, and i dont want to brick it because of some idiotic firmware problems. Is it now safe to update the firmwares?

Which exact problematic firmware problem do you mean?
The current one in the latest official drivers has more issues than usual, the next one will be better again.
That should be Fanatec's tagline - "Fanatec - more issues than usual". :-)
Well I dont want to brick the base because the firmware update will fail. Rn Im waiting for my base in which the pcb was replaced. Does it mean that it will have the latest firmware installed, or will it have the oldest firmware installed and i will have to update?
It most likely wont have the newest firmware installed, no.
So what do you recommend? Should i update the firmware even if it may be problematic or just use the old firmware and wait for the more stable updates?
