QR2 base side alignment

I have got the QR2 for the base side today. After assembling it, I was not able to connect the wheel. The reason was, that the QR2 was upside down. Fortunately I did not try to connect the wheel with force. This would have damaged the pin. I am surprised, that the right alignment is not mentioned in any manual. Yes of course there is the Fanatec sign on the upper side of the OR2, but I did not realized that at first and it is not mention in the manual.

The pins would not get damaged because the wheel would get stuck before the pins would make contact with anything.
So nothing would happen when you attachthe wheel upside down, it would get stuck without damaging anything.
there was actually somewhere typed/showed that fanatec icon needs be upper side when you insert the steering wheel
not needed when you also attach the wheel upside down :D

Haha, very funny. Very good customer care.
And then there is the CS DD which doesn't even have the F sign on the QR2... Is there a way to tell which way it should be to engage the wheel?
Its shaped different on the top vs the bottom, so you will quickl memorize how its aligned "properly". However, as said multiple times, even when its not aligned properly, the wheel only fits one way and you can not attach it wrong, it just doesnt fit and stops before you could damage anything.
All right, thanks for the advice Maurice. Yes, it will quickly become natural but not very intuitive at first! 😀 That's why I was wondering if I was missing something obvious, good to know I'm not. Cheers!
