Apparently the QR2 update cable will be ready early next year as new units, which you can pre-order now with an availability date of 10th Jan, already will come with the QR2 update cable and QR2 Pro Wheel-Side pre-mounted according to the webshop description which seems to have been updated just today.
I bought the BMW M4 GT3 wheel last year. and have already received the QR2 free of charge. the QR2 update cable will be sent also free of charge ?????

Woohoo! Am I going to need to revert back to my QR1 cable at all? Right now I am on Diver 454 with QR2. Would i need to use the cable for a 455 update?
You only need the update cable when there is a new FW available for the wheel in a new driver.
455, which will be released in the next few minutes, wont have new BMW Firmware, so no need to grab the update cable.

I'm seeing a few reports of new purchases including a QR2 cable - is there any news for those of us who purchased them - including the promise of the QR2 cable - much earlier?
There are news, yes. Yesterday I finally got an answer to my question from 2nd January, which was a follow-up question to my original question from 26th September: they dont have any timeframe yet but are well aware of the topic and are working on it intensively.
Whatever that means.....
