Base update
Hi Guys, i recently updated my podium F1 wheel for PS as it would not connect to other steering wheels after i updated the firmware and drivers the F1 and round wheel are detected for calibration but it never allows me to finilise and use the wheel and base, when you turn it on it only turns the wheel to the left and stops, there are no lights on and just goes back to the cal message, the update also wont update the base motor it just give an error message. I need help as i have tried everything i can find online.

Sounds like every story I've seen with the podium stuff...firmwares / drivers seem to mess everything up...you could try going back to driver v366 I believe and try reflashing from there
I keep seeing this v366 suggestion. Is that a super old driver? or a firmware?

It has worked for a lot of people. You'll also need to downgrade the firmware to that version for console.
V366 is the base driver for podium wheels. Basically driver one from my understanding
I use the new driver 455 with the gt dd pro base and formula wheel and everything works fine mate!
even a xbox? xbox is most common issue at there that it not want work
you should go to v 366 and downgrade the firmware if thats works you can upgrade to v451. if that do not work you must contact support, because it could be a hardware issue. and you should put the wheels off. After base motor is updated you can update the wheels.
but the best will be you post here a screenshot of your fantec driver penal so people could see the firmware and the errormessage of base motor. what firmware is running on WQR?

pc works fine xbox half of the buttons and ps5 nothing i am at a loss ready to trow in the towel and more to another company i have waited for so long !!!
problems with firmware can happen on other brands too.
it will not let me downgrade because the drivers are not current but i can upgrade it just errors out,
