Quick Release not socketing

I just received my quick release after waiting ages for it and now it wont socket properly with my base, I looked at the balls inside and they all go into their sockets when the qr is compressed, I am so confused and frankly distraught at this point. If any of you guys could shed some insight on what could be the problem that would be more than appreciated.

    which qr adapter you are using. maybe that adapter blocks the qr1

    Show a video of both the wheel and drive shaft ends so we can see pins in wheel and socket in drive shaft, also stop trying to ram it on.

    looks like the wrong adapter because at the beginning you can see it did´t have the right pins. it cant be work

    Yup, just keep jamming a round peg into a square hole, that'll fix it.

    You can mount the QR upside down on the pin post so that the pins are 180 out. This would cause exactly what you see in the video and just keeping jamming it on over and over will completely destroy the pins.

    Look and make sure the pins are orientated correctly, not 180 out......,,.
