Map Button to different Button on the itself

Is it possible to map for example the A Button of a steering whel to be the X Button? That would be very helpful in many situations and games on console.

    you can map the buttons only in the games itself on console monstly under steering configuration. I didn´t know a game where you can´t do it.

    The Problem is, in the mclaren gt3 wheel, the LSB Button and RSB button has the same input than the shifters. Both are the same button ingame. So i cant remapit in game. That i can change lsb to clone the y button would be very nice.

    If you are on xbox that buttons are useless. It´s been discussed now for years and everybody on xbox hope for an update.
