Should i upgrade Firmware when upgrading from QR1 lite to QR1 ?

Hello,

I have the McLaren GT3 wheel and i upgraded the quick release from QR1 lite to the QR1. Is it necessary to upgrade the Firmware of the Wheel and/or Wheelbase ? Using it with the DDPRO 8Nm.
