CSL DD Stuck in Compatibility Mode (Yellow Light)

I was experiencing an intermittent issue with the gear changing during qualy in a league race. Reinstalling steering wheel appeared to have fixed it (steering wheel pins look fine). I was doing TT a couple of nights later and the gear shifting went again. Unit went into compatibility mode (yellow light) and power button wouldn't change the mode or turn the base off. Reinstalled the steering wheel. Loosened the c-clamp and reinstalled the base side QR stem and tightened the clamp back up. Still in compatibility mode.

Removed steering wheel and connected to the PC. Wheel base can be recognised and can perform FFB tests but still stuck in compatibility mode. I'm able to get the unit into Bootloader mode (flashing blue) but that's it. At a loss what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

    Update!

    Reflashed wheel base FW in Bootloader mode (Flashing Blue Light) and the unit works again!
